A state Supreme Court committee is seeking qualified candidates to serve as State Bar Court review and hearing judges. Two hearing judge positions are open, one in San Francisco and one in Los Angeles, and one part-time (60 percent) review judge position is open. That judgeship can be filled in either city and offers a pro rata salary of $107,273. The salary for a hearing judge is $163,274 per year.

Applications will be reviewed by an Applicant Evaluation and Nomination Committee appointed by the Supreme Court. An extensive professional and personal history, references and background investigation, and personal interview may be required. The application deadline is March 19 and early applications are highly encouraged.
