The Alameda County Bar Association’s Volunteer Legal
Services Corporation will host “Justice for All: Celebrating Pro Bono,” its
annual volunteer recognition and fundraising event. The event will take place

More than 200 attorneys and other professionals attended the Contra Costa County Bar Association’s Inter-Professional Mixer on March
21. The popular mixers bring attorneys together with bankers, accountants, real
estate and insurance professionals. CCCBA Board President Audrey Gee touted the
simplicity of the events in a recent interview with the American Bar
Association’s Bar Leader magazine. “You grab a drink, you talk with people and
get to know them,” she said. “It’s pure networking.”
The Tulare County Bar Association is extending Law
Day 2012 into Law Week with several first-time events, including
the “Paper Chase” 5K Run/2K Walk on April 28 to raise money for CASA and
“Barrister’s Banquet” May 3.
