A recommendation from the Task
Force on Admissions Regulation Reform to change the State Bar’s admission and
training requirements to include the following:
- Pre-admission: 15 units of practice-based experiential training
in law school/apprenticeship option
- 50 hours of pro bono/reduced-fee legal services
- Post-admission: 10 hours of competency training MCLE
